Baroona Road Physiotherapy to Youngify - 1991 to present
Baroona Physio has transformed to Youngify - Where Neuroscience Meets Physiotherapy. Baroona has a special meaning and long history as an aboriginal place name, which became a suburb.
Baroona suburb was absorbed when Milton was expanded and Baroona Road remains.
What is now called Milton Village, on Baroona Road, was the original location and reason for the previous business name, starting in 1991.
Michael Ridgway became part owner in 2001 and then 100% owner of Baroona Road Physiotherapy in 2004 and grew the business to be uniquely successful in physiotherapy.
When it came time to move, in 2010, to 108 Haig Road the name was shortened to Baroona Physio.
The success of the business was substantial and Michael and the team knew that more is possible.
We needed to change so that clients could see that what we do is a lot more than common physiotherapy.
